Anesti was born in New York City in 1960 to Greek parents. At the age of six, he moved to Greece and graduated from Greek high school. He continued his education in Chicago, earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Baptized as Anastasios in the Greek Orthodox Church, Anesti began his career as an engineer. After working in engineering for many years, he moved to Florida and became involved in real estate development. Following the completion of his real estate projects, Anesti and his cousins acquired the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, where he currently serves as Director and Assistant General Manager.
