Biography
Father James, son of Rev. Thomas J. Paris and Presvytera Vasiliki Paris, graduated in 1994 with a Master of Divinity with Highest Distinction from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Graduate School of Theology. He has served in various roles, including Pastoral Assistant, Youth Director, Byzantine Chanter, and Greek Orthodox Priest and Pastor at several churches, and is currently serving Holy Trinity in Clearwater, FL. He and his wife, Eleni, are blessed with two daughters.
During his tenure at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Phoenix, AZ, Father James was instrumental in starting Holy Trinity Academy, a parochial school that grew from pre-kindergarten to the fourth grade.
He has also been actively involved in national church initiatives, including presenting a Religious Freedom Resolution to the Arizona state legislature in support of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
