The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church New Endowment Fund

 

At our general assembly held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, our parish voted unanimously to establish a new endowment fund. The new endowment fund is a fund dedicated exclusively to support the future of our Church ministries and serve the philanthropic purposes of our
Orthodox mission. The first goal is to raise $100,000. We are so very excited to share with you that at the general assembly, three parishioners, believing so much in the importance of this initiative, pledged $10,000 each. We are so grateful! As soon as we reach our first goal, the newly established endowment fund board will come into existence to begin its work.

We have a fund for our operating expenses and funds dedicated to bricks and mortar, but until this past week there was no fund dedicated exclusively to the charitable work, we as Orthodox Christians are called upon to do as part of our faith. We believe that this endowment fund is essential to build a stronger foundation for future generations. Imagine one day the fund being able to provide tens of thousands of dollars to support things like our youth ministries or feeding the poor in our community. Of great importance is that the funds donated will be doing God's work long after the contributors have left this earth. What greater legacy could we leave the next generation of Orthodox Christians that will assume the future responsibilities of our community?

We respectfully ask that you consider a separate donation to this fund or the possibility of including the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Endowment Fund as an estate beneficiary in your will.
