The HOPE ministry formally includes Kindergarten through 2nd grade children and many of the events are open to PreK3 and PreK4 children as well. The JOY ministry includes 3rd through 6th grade children. Both Hope and Joy reflect the Orthodox Christian Faith, Tradition and Life. The mission of the HOPE and Joy ministries is to lay a foundation of faith through developing a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and by becoming active sacramental members of the living church. The ministry has four characteristics (Worship (Liturgia), Fellowship (Koinonia), Service (Diakonia), and Witness (Martyria)) which are conducted through age appropriate opportunities such as retreats, fellowship opportunities, service projects, and participation in the life of the church.
